Last Sunday, I was fortunate to attend Pampers and Gymboree’s Mommy Meet-Up Event at Glorietta 5 Atrium. This fun-filled afternoon event showcased lively discussions on motherhood, Gymboree’s activities for kids and the launch of Pampers’ latest innovation: Pampers Baby Dry Pants with brand ambassadors Andi and Olivia Manzano-Reyes.
*This post is brought to you by Pampers. All opinions are mine.
There were a lot of interesting activities for the participants. A play area was made by Gymboree along with several art stations for kids. The kids also engaged in Gymboree programs such as blowing bubbles and parachute.
Street food and ice cream carts also lined up at the side of the venue.
During the event, resource person and registered child and family specialist, Michelle Alignay explained the value of uninterrupted playtime in children. Playtime is important for a child’s development. It is an opportunity for children to bond with their parents and learn valuable skills.
Video and radio DJ Andi Manzano- Reyes also shared that daughter Olivia is now more active and loves playtime. Because of this, diaper-changing became more challenging. Andi decided to move up to Pampers Baby Dry Pants because it’s able to keep up with Olivia’s needs while making diaper change very easy.
There was also a live on stage demo. During the demo, Pampers baby specialists along with Michelle and Andi showed how absorbent Baby Dry Pants were compared to an unknown brand. It was able to absorb the blue liquid quicker than the other brand. Furthermore, the Magic Gel component in the diaper can also lock-in wetness up to 7 wettings and provides up to 12 hours of skin dryness.
Aside from these, the demo also highlighted the key feautures of Pampers Baby Dry Pants in three easy steps:
First, STRETCH, it features an all-round stretchy waistband and flexible leg cuffs to make sure it fits well and lets her play and move around.
Second, EASY TO PUT ON, just put one leg at a time and pull-up. Diaper changing becomes super easy unlike taped diapers where you have to ensure baby is lying down to make the tapes evenly attached.
Third, EASY TO TEAR OFF, just tear off at the sides and dispose.
After the demo, a mommy panel consisting of four well respected moms namely: Michelle Alignay, actress Say Alonzo, Andi Manzano- Reyes, book author and career coach Tess Dumadag engaged in a conversation about motherhood, career and self-care.
As I listened to their sharing, I got some important insights about these topics. According to Ms. Alignay, as mothers, we shouldn’t feel guilty about taking care of ourselves. She said our family’s well-being depends on our well-being. Ms. Dumadag, on the other hand, emphasized that planning is vital in juggling motherhood and career roles. She chose projects that enable her to spend time with her kids.
When it came to discipline, the members of the mommy panel agreed that it is critical to be consistent in disciplining our children. Ms. Manzano shared that her mom would explained that she loved her when she disciplined her.
My daughter actually got the chance to try Pampers Baby Dry Pants at this event. My daughter needed her nappy changed and luckily, they had a changing station at the event. I found it convenient to put on since she didn’t need to lie down. They also gave me samples to take home.
As a mom of an active toddler, I am always on the lookout for products that work and give her comfort as well. When we got home, I inspected the diapers in detail and on my daughter.
The elastic waistband has a soft inner lining.
The leg holes stretch well too.
The side tapes don’t resist when I tried to tear them off.
I could say, overall, we have a positive experience with Pampers Baby Dry Pants. Here are some of my observations:
- It is easy to put on even when my daughter is standing.
- It is very compact so it is easy to pack into the diaper bag. Even if I’m bringing a lot, it can fit into our diaper bag.
- It has a comfortable fit and doesn’t fall off even when my daughter is constantly up and about.
- We usually change her diapers every 3 to 4 hours during the day.Her bottom remained dry after 4 hours.
- The easy to tear off sides make the diaper hassle free to remove during diaper change.
- The flexible waistband band also doesn’t irritate her sensitive skin.
- She seems happy wearing it.
For mommies with active kids like me, maybe it’s time to #MoveUpToPampersPants.
